I am a single and rare African-American Jewel, who is stretching out my hands to the four corners of the globe, seeking to touch the heart of my potential best friend and soulmate. It's my desire to have a relationship that has the potential for committment, longevity, honesty, laughter, joy, wise counsel, respect and growth. I believe that "Fortune Favors the Bold and Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained!” I don't sit around wishing for good luck to visit me; I venture out into the world and create my own good luck. Yes, I am 54 years old; I am proud; and I don't feel inferior because I am maturing. I am like a fine wine that only gets better with time. Every season of my life brings me new advantages. No physical alterations have been performed on my face or body. When considering the chronological age of a woman of African descent, keep in mind the fact that women with dark skin, age much slower than women with light skin. I understand people and the ways of the world. I am a very nice, compassionate, and diplomatic human being; however, I am very straightforward when I communicate. I am open to participating in a conversation on any subject. I have intellectual, academic and people skills. "Fair exchange is no robbery", is the old English Proverb that serves as my guide on how to conduct myself in a relationship with the man of my choice. A relationship is fair as long as both parities understand and agree to the conditions willingly, when a relationship is first entered into. This means, when I enter into a relationship with a man, I have the expectation that he will require no more of my time, energy, and material possessions, than he is willing to give of himself to me. I am a lean machine; softly muscular; have high cheek bones; caramel-tanned complexion; flawless velvety smooth skin; brownish facial freckles; clear golden light brown eyes; full lips; straight white teeth; and black hair (most of the time). I am holistically desirable (mind, body and spirit); youthful, fun, happy energetic; optimistic; straight forward; honest; possess an engaging personality; problem solver; possibility thinker; futuristic; and I see opportunities even among the ashes. My life is a blessing, and I am involved in a passionate love affair with life. I am spiritual; caring; educated; well-traveled; and racially/culturally diverse. I am a citizen of the world; therefore, my mobility is not limited by geographical or continental boundaries. I enjoy international travel; world affairs; politics; interacting with individuals from different countries and cultures. I love listening to a variety of music; and eating foods from different countries. The on again, off again dating merry-go-round does not excite me. Have historical knowledge of the African-American experience in North America. For a worthy man, I am willing to travel and relocate to one's home city, state or country of residence. It's okay if you've picked-up a little baggage traveling down life's highway, because we can help each other unpack. However, just make sure that you have emotionally and physically freed yourself from ex-wives and ex-girl friends.
